About
I am a self- taught artist and writer born 1975 Greenhills, South Africa. I grew up knowing I wasn't the same as
everyone else. Childhood abuse lead to disassociation, emotional numbness and I grew into a confused, angry and depressed young woman. I met my husband when I was eighteen, I have three children and remarried the same loving man. My experiences throughout my life, both good and bad make up my inspiration for the art I create. I support mental health awareness, non violence against women and children and anti-poaching. Also a huge inspiration is the complexity of the human spirit, nature and it's splendor and last but not least my love for animals. Visual emotionism is something that talks to me as a artist and as well as the kind of person I am. Growth, knowledge, determination and a desire to keep learning is what drives me. Sharing everything of who I am and letting my spirit speak is what is important to me in my work. I create art in the following mediums:

Johan`s Story
I was born in 1962 and raised in Klerksdorp. I am a self taught artist and started painting after my wife Jeanette unexpectedly passed away in April 2018. My first painting was a portrait of Jeanette which took me several months too complete, this oil painting done with palette knife, is my favorite painting.
I am inspired by nature but I am very keen on painting anything that presents a challenge. Had the privilege to learn from Leon Cronje. Bob Mckenzie, Christopher Ried, Mariette Marais and Johan Kruger. I prefer working in soft pastel, but love to work in other mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor and charcoal. Although I love the warm colors of summer I favor autumn for it's rich colors and contrasts. I have completed Sixty-eight paintings since I started my journey, thirteen incomplete and I have sold thirty and counting.....I do commissions and I am competent in any subject.
